We make it easy for you to contribute to the College in the ways you find most effective and meaningful.
Foundation staff will work with you to meet any needs for information about charitable gift considerations, including recommendations about how to work with a financial advisor and obtain independent, qualified appraisals if necessary.

Wire Transfers
A wire transfer is a transfer of funds done electronically. No check is required to be sent.
For further instructions on making a wire transfer gift, email foundation@hr888888.com.
Securities Transfers
When you make a gift of appreciated securities (including publicly traded and privately held stock and mutual funds) that are held for longer than one year, you can take a charitable deduction for their full current value. In this way, you can avoid paying the capital gains tax that would be due if you sold them when transferred directly to the Foundation.
For further instructions on making a gift of securities, email foundation@hr888888.com.
Gifts-in-Kind
You may give tangible property such as books, furniture, artwork and jewelry, if there is a related use at the College or, in many cases, to be sold so that the proceeds can benefit the College. Because federal income tax guidelines govern gifts of tangible property, we urge you to consult with a tax advisor before choosing to give an object of substantial value.
The Foundation generally does not accept gifts of services (which are also not tax-deductible under IRS law); any exceptions to this policy require written approval.

Payroll Deduction for Montco Employees
Why do hundreds of College faculty and staff members give to the Foundation? The answers are diverse, but they all reflect a sincere belief in the work that’s done here. As a respected member of our faculty or staff, you already make valuable contributions with your energy and efforts. Contributing financially represents an additional vote of confidence in our future and a way to share your sense of partnership and pride. While you also have the ability to make an outright gift online or via mail, we encourage you to consider payroll deduction as an easy way to make ongoing impact.
Payroll deductions allow College employees to have their donation automatically deducted from their paycheck. This is an easy way to spread your gift over a period of time.
